Our beautiful dolls, finalists for Gift of the Year Awards 2023, were lovingly designed by Jayda (Founder of OUAD) here in London, England. Modelled around her own son and husband, the doll was meant as a forever keepsake to pass on to her darling children. Finally, a doll that looked and dressed like those in their family and community. Not only are they stylish and beautiful to look at, but they are also heirloom quality and expertly hand-knit by true artisans, that are keeping a lineage of craftsmanship alive.
These gorgeous cloth dolls in beautiful Islamic attire, also served a bigger and wider purpose, filling a gap in cultural representation. Beautifully designed with a Scandinavian influence, these dolls are hand-knit using premium cotton yarns, and 100% cotton material, that are both sustainable and eco-friendly.
Each of our heirloom quality keepsake doll is delicately handcrafted with love and is meant to be adored, cuddled and played with. Our Keepsake dolls are the perfect size for play and measure 30cm (12" approx.). We recommend these dolls for ages 3 and up due to their delicate nature, as each is delicately hand-knit together, with a lot of love, care and attention, making no two dolls the exact same.
Our dolls don't need to stay up on a shelf but gentle play is recommended for longevity and to pass along as a heirloom.
